If you’re a serious Quake player the AGP Tour has just officially launched adding 12 North American tournaments to its schedule.

VIDA LLC announced today the launching of the first ever international players association in professional gaming and in Quake Live, the AGP (Association of Gaming Professionals). The AGP will unite the players to expand and sustain the sport themselves through player legislation, international and regional rankings, and tournament sponsoring and sanctioning.

Warfactory has been heavily involved in this next evolution of E-Sports.  Make sure you check it out!

Dust off your PCs!  Clean off your XBOX 360 Controllers!  We’re announcing a free (YES FREE!!!) tournament event and LAN to celebrate the long-awaited release of Modern Warfare 2.  We’ll be working alongside the Webster University Computer Club, 2GameGuys, and GameCrazy and more sponsors will be on the way.

Again, this will feature both XBOX 360 and PC (BYOC) Tournaments with prizes and more. Stay tuned for information … registration won’t be mandatory although space may be limited.  BYOC will be first-come-first-served and for the XBOX tournament we will include as many people as possible!
